COVER REVEAL: THE BORING JOB PROJECT

I received a VERY exciting package in the post the other day. I knew exactly what it was and my hands tingled with nerves and excitement as I tore open the cardboard packaging. Bookmail is the best kind of mail – especially when it’s your name on the spine.

That’s right! My book is here!

I could almost squeal with excitement and I have many, many times. It’s time to reveal to the world the project that I’ve been working on. I’m terrified, of course, to show you all my own little brain creation, but I’m also ready to put it out there and see how many people can relate to this topic.

It is my absolute pleasure to introduce to you to my first book, The Boring Job Project.

Have you ever had to continuously refill your tea or coffee cup to make it through an afternoon at work? Been there and spilled it all over my shirt to prove it. This was the inspiration for my cover.

The Boring Job Project is the story of my journey to finding job satisfaction by doing more outside of work. I wanted to explore the effect that having hobbies and interests – instead of mindlessly watching TV – had on my feelings towards my job.

If you’re looking for something to read for your non-fiction November, you can request an advance reader copy (ARC) through this link.

I’ll be sharing a little more about the background and conception of this idea in the coming weeks, but for now, it’s back to my NaNoWriMo project.
